Jefto Dedijer (1880, Čepelica, Bileća - 1918) was a Serb writer, geographer and influential in the formation of the Serb Academy. He who was born to a peasant family, in the 19th century in Bileća in the Herzegovina region (today in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina) of what was then Austria-Hungary. He had three sons, Vladimir, Boro Dedijer and Stevan. Jefto Dedijer died in 1918 from the Spanish Flu.
